Before diving into the workout, it's crucial to warm up your wrists and forearms to prevent injuries and ensure optimal performance. Spend 2-3 minutes on wrist rotations and gentle stretches to prepare your muscles for the intense workout ahead.
Once you're warmed up and ready to go, grab the Forearm Roller 2.0 and the Armlabz bottle, filled your chosen weight. The Armlabz bottle, specifically designed to measure water weight in pounds, allows you to precisely adjust the resistance according to your strength. The bottle weighs a maximum of five pounds of water when full, good luck with that. (Or you can fill it with something like rice, or grab any other weight)
Working out with the Forearm Roller 2.0
- Attach the Weight: Hook the bottle onto the Armlabz Forearm Roller 2.0.
- Right Arm: With the Forearm Roller 2.0 in both hands, start rolling the weight up by only rotating your right wrist in a controlled motion, like revving an engine. Focus on the full range of motion, feeling the burn in your forearm muscles as the strap gets higher. Once the strap reaches the top, lower the weight until it has made contact with the floor, then press both buttons positioned near thumbs to release the weight back to starting position.
- Left Arm: Immediately switch to your left hand and repeat the rolling motion until the weight reaches the bar again.
- Alternate Hands: Next alternate between your right and left hands without rest until the weight reaches the bar each time.
- Repeat: If you are up to the challenge release the weight and rotate the forearm roller 2.0 around, and then do the same thing again, right arm, then left arm, then alternate hands, this will workout the opposite side of the forearm.
Cool down
After completing that workout, incorporate some easy stretches for your forearms and wrists. This helps improve flexibility, reduce soreness, and promote recovery.
